Welcome to First Congregational Church of Akron. This is both a traditional and unique protestant church which serves the entire region rather than a neighborhood. Members and visitors come from many cities to join in our congregation to share in the ministry of the Good Shepherd.

When Jesus established the church he told Peter to feed his sheep and tend his lambs and we attempt to follow this as our statement of purpose and to understand the Sermon on the Mount as our creed.

We welcome people to join us regularly for worship. We are excited for people to join us in fellowship to whatever level they desire. If you are a private person and wish to remain so, we understand this too and will honor that position.

First Church, as we are known, is a friendly church with activities to satisfy all ages and interests. We look forward to seeing you.
